Most people believe that after the Beatles (BREAK) up in 1970, the friendship between John Lennon and Paul McCartney was over. John's song from 1971 "How can you sleep?" was apparently about Paul.

However, Paul has always maintained that he remained on good terms and that he still misses Lennon, who (MURDER) was murdered tragically in 1980.

What is even less well-known is that Paul and John played together again long after The Beatles, arguably the greatest band ever, had played (THEY) last song. It happened in 1974.

John (RECORD) music in the studio when Paul turned up with his wife Linda and some other friends.

Apparently the drums (PLAY) by Paul on this informal session and they sang classic rock-and-roll songs from the 1950's. Some of it was recorded but the tapes are missing.

One thing for sure is that if the original tapes are ever found they would be worth a fortune — as well as clear proof of the (LAST) friendship of the two men.

An even (BIG) and more public proof came in 1997, when Paul named his solo album "Flaming Pie" after a famous joke once told to journalists by his old friend.
